This essential component can be the ultimate determining factor between an exceptionally satisfied or extremely disappointed customer. The cost of this item, when compared to its supporting parts, is next to nothing. At yet it has the ability to sharpen images, provide more detail and allow the radiologist to provide accurate diagnoses.

A Visual Guide for Portable X-Rays Requiring a Grid

Crystal Lake, IL Aug. 27 - Reina Imaging has just released its second product video that features their 2nd generation of grid encasements - Protect-A-Grid 2. It demonstrates each style of encasement in a sims patient room. This video aims to help both x-ray dealer and radiographer alike to choose a style that best suits their needs.

The RSNA meeting this year was a huge success for the Reina Imaging team. Introducing a plethora of mobile DR panel accessory items - there was a lot of buzz going on at booth #4602. Reduced weight DRP Protect-A-Grids, improved Weight Distribution Caps and PAG solutions for AMX retrofits to name a few.

There is plenty of good news at Booth #4604 as Reina Imaging (dba. X-Ray Cassette Repair Co. Inc.) announces final steps toward ISO certification just in time for RSNA 2010. Founded in 1978, Reina Imaging is the largest and most proficient cassette repair organization in North America. And shortly, will be the only ISO 13485 grid encasement manufacturer as well. Reina’s headquarters spans over 25,000 sq. ft. and is located Crystal Lake, northwest of Chicago, Illinois.

X-ray Cassettes

Once the arduous task of transitioning from analog to digital is completed there are still a few pesky items that need to be addressed before the nightmare of a screen/film system can finally go away once and for all. One of these items is; what to do with all of your old cassettes and ID cameras. Do you sell them, trade them in for credit value or throw them in the trash? Deciding what is in your practice’s best interest should be predicated on a few variables.
